6.4% JULY INFLATION RATE, HINDI NA IKINAGULAT NG PBBM ADMINISTRATION

Inaasahan na ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Ang pagtaas ng inflation rate sa buwan ng Hulyo. Ito ay matapos na i-anunsyo ng Philippine Statistics Authority o PSA ang pagtaas pa ng inflation rate sa 6.4 percent nitong nakalipas na buwan mula sa 6.1 percent noong June 2022. Sa press briefing sa Malakanyang ay sinabi ni Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles na mismong si Pangulong BBM ay nabanggit na ito sa kaniyang nakalipas na State of the Nation Address o SONA. "I understand that these were projected even before given the inputs due to the international events that have led to the increase in the prices of petroleum. All of these have been factored. And in fact it was even mentioned in the SONA of the President so yes it’s part of it, we have expected this," ayon kay Sec. Trixie Cruz-Angeles. Gayunman, hindi na ito nagbigay pa ng detalye ukol sa isyu sa halip ay ipauubaya na lang ng Malakanyang sa Department of Finance ang paglabas ng pahayag ukol dito. Hindi rin naman aniya ito natalakay sa isinagawang cabinet meeting kaninang umaga.
